SUMMARY:Clinical Considerations for Sex Therapy with Bisexual Clients
DESCRIPTION:\nEvent Details\n\n\n\nThis 1.5-hour\, synchronous virtual prog
 ram will explore key considerations for working with bisexual and pansexua
 l clients in a sex therapy context. Participants will learn about common c
 hallenges these clients may bring into therapy\, debunk pervasive myths ab
 out bisexuality\, reflect on their own assumptions and biases\, and identi
 fy affirming clinical strategies to support bisexual clients.\n\nThe progr
 am will include a mix of lecture with PowerPoint\, a case study\, experien
 tial activities\, and time for personal reflection.\n\nClick here to sign

 ted to sexual orientation and/or gender identity: heterosexuality\; issues
  and themes impacting lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, pansexual\, asexual peopl
 e\; gender identity and expression.\n\nParticipants will be able to identi
 fy at least two ways to make their clinical practice feel safe and affirmi
 ng for bisexual clients.\n\nParticipants will be able to describe at least
  three ways internalized biphobia and bisexual invisibility may impact a c
 lient’s mental health\, relationships\, or sexual satisfaction.\n\nThis 
 program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Ed
 ucators\, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for CE credit
 s. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal
